Track Roller Bearings

Track roller bearings are essentially cylindrical roller or needle roller bearings which have a thick-walled outer race.

Yoke type track rollers can support high radial loads and axial loads arising from misalignments and skewed running and are suitable for cam drives, slideways, conveying equipment etc.

The bearing outer rings have a crowned or cylindrical outside surface. Designs with a crowned outside surface are used where there is misalignment in relation to the raceway and edge stresses must be avoided. The bearings are available with or without an inner ring as well as in open and sealed versions.

Yoke Type Track Rollers - NUTR Series

The internal design layout of the non-separable NUTR yoke type track rollers is similar to that of double row cylindrical roller bearings.

Since the outer ring has two shoulders these yoke type track rollers can accept greater thrust loads.

The loose ribs of these types are retained by cupped pressed steel washers press-fitted into the outer ring. These pressed steel washers also act as a gap seal.

NUTR yoke type track roller feature optimum load rating due to their complement design but require frequent re-lubrication.

For extra heavy duty applications where heavy shock loads occurs NUTR yoke type track rollers are available with an extra-radially thick walled outer ring.
